Task 8 (U20) M3: Explain how the created media components comply with the codes and conventions of the media sectors

The research which I did of existing products before, has been reflected in my 3 adverts of which was the magazine advert, the billboard advert and the TV Advert.  This is shown because in all 3 adverts we made sure that they were all vibrant colours.  Through having vibrant colours it attracts the attention of the audience a lot more.  Furthermore, through doing research we noticed that most, if not all adverts include the product in the advert, this is important as it allows the audience to understand what the product looks like when they go to purchase it in stores, furthermore, this is why we included the product in our adverts as well. I also researched into video adverts from a popular drinks company, Fanta .   Within one of their video ads, they used upbeat music as well as a colour scheme so individualised that their audience would know exactly what product was being advertised. This can clearly be seen in my campaign. Below is proof of a TV avert that Fant

Task 7 (U20): Be able to produce the planned media components

Billboard advert We ensured that both our adverts have stayed within the same colour scheme as they can so that everything ties in together.  We included all the social media pages that our product will have with the link to each of the pages for the audience to easily access. Magazine advert This is a print ad that will be displayed in magazines and newspapers again only ones that our target audience read as this is the audience we will benefit from in terms of selling our product. Drink advert This is our Phizz Wizard advert that will be broadcasted across various different TV channels as well as over our social media pages.   We will ensure that the channels it will be broadcasted to are age appropriate to our target audience. Feedback for our video advert This video is a compilation of feedback from several members of our target audience to gather their thoughts on our Video Advert.  From this we discovered that: -St

Task 6 (U20) P3 - Create a pre-production plan for the media components in the planned advertising campaign

Proposal: Aims and Objectives: In this campaign the aims and objectives is to create three different adverts, a magazine advert, a billboard advert and a TV advert to promote the new drink “Fizz Wizard”.   This campaign focuses on the primary target audience of 30 year olds (on average) which is a retro style of age group.   The aims are to increase sales and brand awareness of this product to the more middle aged audience. Locations: There is one set location to shoot the whole video.   This is because of the design of video that we chose to create of which is a stop motion.   The location has been scouted out to be in the science lecture theatre of JCoSS.   This is because there is a green screen in it and with the door closed the room can be almost silent, meaning there will be no noise pollution.   Clearances and permission: To record in the science lecture theatre, we will need request permission from the school to make sure that we have permission.   This scien

Task 6 P2 (U20): Create a plan for a cross media advertising campaign in response to a client brief

Gantt Chart: A gantt chart is good because it helps production companies to stay organised and to understand how long it takes to do each task.  Furthermore, it allows for small SMART objectives to make it easier to hit the deadlines. Mood board: Mood boards are important because it helps to give inspiration and ideas to people when trying to come up with ideas. Justification of choice of planned media components We have chosen to advertise the drink through the use of a billboard advert, magazine advert and a TV advert.  We originally decided to use these three types of advertisements because the client, "Carter Soft Drinks" have requested in the client brief for these three types of advertisements to be products.  We chose these types of adverts because firstly, the billboard advert, directly targets the target audience.  This is because the target audience of which is middle aged people will mostly be driving, and therefo

P4: Explain the behaviours and attributes required for a specific job role This video identifies the job role of a director, within the video is also a description of the behaviours and attributes of the job role and what they do within the job role.  Furthermore, we explain how the personal behaviours and attributes affect the career development opportunities within the media industry.  Lastly, this video explains the importance of etiquette when working on a media production. There are many different opportunities from being a director.  You could be the director of an advertising agency, a director of a movie premier, the director of a movie, all these directors offer a wide variety of opportunities.  As a director, the job role is to direct people on what to do, where to be and how things should be done, if the role is done successfully, there is a good potential that a good piece of media will come as a result, whether it is a movie and the movie is on a low budge, yet i

D2 (U24): Explain the importance of etiquette when working on a media production What is the importances of etiquette when working on a media production? (Take a break for next part of speaking) It’s all very well having skills and creativity, but if you don’t follow the etiquette of a company or a media production situation you can end up with a bad reputation or unable to progress in your career. If you do not behave properly then the production of a campaign could actually be slowed down due to miscommunication and things not happening in the correct order, by the correct people. It is important to know who does what, when and how and to ensure that you have an understanding of your place in the company or organisation. (Take a break for next part of speaking) Etiquette can be defined as:  The customary code of polite behaviour in society or among members of a particular profession or group.  Which basically just means if someone has good manners and respect for s
